J'adore! La veste de Hurle est juste splendide, les manches surtout *.*
Superbe illustration!

Merci beaucoup ! Howl est vraiment un de mes personnages préférés, et cette histoire de longues manches qui flottent m'a toujours plus ou moins intrigué ... XD

oh wow, i see so much influence from the book, i love it. there's such a great sense of motion and movement within this piece and your softer colour palette really gives it a mystical feeling.

and i love how you represented Calcifer as his book self rather than his movie counterpart, i always wished that Calcifier in the film was like the rainbow version in the book.

Thanks ! I loved the book, it was so magical, I can't help but feel sad I forgot it on a shelf at my mother's home because right now I would definitely read it again ! I liked the movie version of Calcifer because, of course, he was adorable, but the book version gives credit to the fact he's a demon ! people always seems to forget about that, and in the movie everything is cuter -well except for the war part-, Howl's way too gentle in my opinion but it is still, and by far my favourite Miyazaki's movie !
But I really like the book more, the characters are very well written !

i watched the movie before i read the book and every time Howl would talk my reaction was always "gosh...Howl is a jerk, haha" calling Sophie Mrs.Nose and what-not. Calcifer's personality in the movie version was very adorable, but it is true that people forget that he can be a pretty scary demon. a part i really like in the book was how Howl's hair was actually pink for a while, i would have loved to see it like that a little longer in the movie; complementing on how his hair matches his coat was adorable, teehee.

Hey me too ! But I thought he was being a jerk in the movie, but he's softer than in the book, I mean, I practically hated him for being the way he was, acting cowardly and all !
I wish Howl stayed with his pink hair, it was one of my favourite moments of the book ! I could almost picture him, being all fabulous in the street while people are watching him with shock on their faces !

Gah, I loved his pink hair 8w8 And I do believe it was Silver at one point as well? I would have liked to see that too, or him constantly changing it every time he walked out the door, hehe.
Book Howl was so....frustrating sometimes! I just wanted to smack him upside the head for his impatience and cowardice, sighhh. Movie Howl was still a coward and aloof, but definitely much softer than the book version.

Yeah, I think his hair were indeed silver after Mrs Pentstemmon got buried ! Poor Lady , I was a bit sad when I realized the fact that they did a mash up with wizard Suliman to do just one character in the movie... A bit disappointing but still I love it. The music, oh my, I could listen to it for hours !
